Primary markets for Biomass Solution LLC
The market for renewable energy sources can be summarized with the following groups:
Institutions:  Typical candidates include larger colleges, universities, large high and middle schools, state and federal prisons as well as hospitals and clinics.  Our strategy includes leveraging detailed site assessments and working with state level grants, in order to offset the initial installation costs.  In addition we tend to focus on the sustainability of energy generation as a magnet for high caliber research fellows that will be attracted by this fact to a particular institution.  This group focus falls almost entirely under the gasification area.
Cheese and Food and Beverage Factories: Typical candidates would include larger cheese factories with at least $20K per month current spending on energy sources, F&B factories with a 24/7 operation and 5MM Btu’s/hr load.  Our strategy includes leveraging the double digit growth in the natural gas and fuel oil pricing as well as utilizing currently unused waste process based product.  This group focus is 75/25% gasification/anaerobic digestion.
Small and Midsize Industrials: Typical candidates would include small and midsize factories with 24/7 operation and at least $25K per month current spending on energy sources, and/or with a and 5,000+ pounds per hour steam load.  Our strategy includes leveraging the double digit growth in the natural gas and fuel oil pricing as well as utilizing currently unused waste process based product.  This group focus is 75/25% gasification/anaerobic digestion.
1st Generation Biofuel Plants: Typical candidates would include 1st Generation Ethanol plants with at least $500K per month current spending on energy sources, 1st Generation Biodiesel plants with at least $100K per month current spending on energy sources.  Our strategy includes leveraging the double digit growth in the natural gas and fuel oil pricing and especially utilizing currently unused waste process based product (distiller’s grain, stillage).  In addition we will provide CHP (combined heat and power) capabilities in order to off-set the capital requirements through the sale of excess electricity to the appropriate utilities (this is mandated my both federal as well as state requirements). This group focus is 15/85% gasification/anaerobic digestion.
Large Dairy and Hog Farms:  Typical candidates would include large dairy farms with at least 700 cows and large hog farms with at least 5,000 hogs.  Our strategy includes a detailed financial analysis of the current use of manure use and associated ROI project impact.  The sales strategy includes larger services play.  In addition to larger dairy and hog farms our strategy also focuses on larger clusters of smaller farms that can be tied into a common manure handling strategy.  The environmental concerns associated with processing of manure for energy can be alleviated utilizing the Biomass Solution anaerobic digesters.  This group focus is 100% anaerobic digestion.
Other Markets: Landfills, currently non-recyclable materials and other waste streams
